The media frequently features celebrity adoption announcements that often give us to ooh and aah over the latest additions to their families.

Adopting children is getting very popular among the celebrities. Hopefully, these celebrities think of the consequences when they adopt the child.

Angelina Jolie’s adoption of her son Maddox is probably the most heavily covered adoption announcements to be featured in the media recently.

Brad Pitt has also been quick to jump on the adoption wagon train, having recently applied to allow these two children to legally take on his last name, as he moves towards marrying their adoptive mother.

This even on local basis, is on an increasing trend. This is true among the wealthy and accomplished.

This increase us probably due to that they are able to pay the hefty fees of adoption.

The long-term effects of removing these children from their homelands and culture are yet to be revealed and understood fully at this moment.

As adoption announcements continue to increase, it’s a good opportunity for anyone approaching parenthood, to at least consider adoption.

Of course, adoption is not for everyone for a variety of reasons. But it’s still good to look into the possibility.
