In recent years exhibitors have seen the cost to attend tradeshows sky rocketed by leaps and bounds. With this said, more and more exhibitors are searching for ways to cut costs. To this end many budget conscious exhibitors are turning to companies that provide turn-key rental booth programs. This turn-key rental program affords the client the luxury of a full custom booth at about a fraction of the cost.
Renting an exhibit can also get complicated. An exhibitor can choose from an off the shelf exhibit booth which is provided by some exhibit houses or the show contractor. The Problem with this is that the booths all look the same. This means other exhibitors at the show may wind up with the same looking booth as you. All companies are different in some way form or fashion, why look like the guy next door.
Custom trade show display rentals are a great alternative to the standard renting programs. Now there is no need to purchase a high cost custom exhibit booth. This helps to set their booth off from he standard rental booth. The programs program in which exhibitors are leaning more towards is the multi-rental exhibit program.
Multi-renal programs are great programs where the exhibitor attends more that 5 shows for the year. They do not wish to own the any properties. No purchasing of components other that unique items pertaining to your product. The exhibitor commits to use the booth and or program for 5 or more shows or 3 years. The exhibitor pays no storage fees and no refurbishment fees on items in rental package. I do however recommend that you take a close look at the cost as oppose to purchasing. The cost savings may be close, especially if you wish to store and maintain your purchased exhibit booth.
Leasing your next trade show booth can also be an advantage. The main advantage is that the booth is treated as a purchase but without the high upfront cost. The tax advantages are much better than outright purchase. Today’s economy is the perfect place for leasing, especially with the low interest rates. I would recommend that you speak to your tax accountant first before getting involved in this program. Monthly payments do come with this program. You also are responsible for refurbishments as well as storage cost. One disadvantage of this program is that you may be ready for a new look before your payments are up.
